The Challenge
Anglo American Medical Scheme required a revised identity capable of modernising the brand while maintaining the trust, stability and institutional credibility long associated with the scheme. During a period of organisational change within Anglo American, the challenge was to reassure members that the scheme remained dependable, established and professionally managed.

The Approach
A refined identity system was developed to balance contemporary brand evolution with the gravitas of a long-standing institution. The visual language was carefully structured to communicate professionalism, trust and continuity while supporting consistency across member communication, branded collateral and corporate touchpoints. Consideration was also given to subtly aligning the scheme with broader Anglo American employer groups without compromising its own distinct identity.

The Outcome
The revised identity strengthened the scheme’s premium positioning while reinforcing trust and continuity during a period of change. The final system provided Anglo American Medical Scheme with a scalable and professional communication framework capable of supporting long-term brand consistency across multiple communication channels.
